If you’re still shopping for a Mother’s Day, it can feel like crunch time. There’s still time to get a great gift, though, and a watch is a wonderful way to celebrate the day and the person. Choosing the right one can be tough, so we’ve grabbed three of our favorite models to help get your shopping adventure started on the right path.
Rolex Datejust
Smaller Datejust models offer plenty to like in a compact package. Even at just 31mm, the 178271 Rolex Datejust offers a 330-foot water resistance rating, 48-hour power reserve, a fluted bezel, and unique two-tone construction with rose gold accents. This one has diamond hour markers, but there are several variants to choose from, both with and without precious metals and stones. There’s also a variety of dial colors and materials, including mother of pearl.
Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra
The Seamaster Aqua Terra is great for moms who love spending time outside and who want a sporty watch that can keep up with an active life. This model features 18k rose gold, but it offers a robust 500-foot water resistance rating and a 60-hour power reserve. This is a larger watch, at 41mm, but it comes on a strap, which provides all-day comfort and helps keep the weight down.
Cartier
The Cartier Cle De Cartier is a gorgeous watch with compact dimensions and great details. It features a 48-hour power reserve, a 35mm case, and 100 feet of water resistance. It’s not quite as well known as the Cartier Santos and it flies under the radar for that reason, but there’s still plenty to like. The Santos is still around, too, though, so Cartier offers a few solid options for Mother’s Day.
