The Seamaster faces direct competition from heavy-hitters like the Rolex Submariners, but it holds its own with compelling features that match or beat its rivals. The ceramic bezel resists scratches and looks great, while Omega’s extendable dive clasp on the bracelet makes the watch wearable in almost any situation.
Seiko MarineMaster/SLA Dive Watches
The Seiko SLA dive watches are unique, high-end timepieces from the brand that generally sells affordable middle-of-the-road designs. It’s available in a variety of colors and wears well on both a strap and the included bracelet, which features a ratcheting adjustable clasp, just like Rolex dive watches costing thousands more.
Inside, the MarineMaster features Seiko’s 8L35 movement, which offers a 50-hour power reserve. The ceramic bezel prevents scratches and brings an upscale look to the watch, while the single-piece case affords a 300m/1000ft depth rating.
