Rolex released several new models earlier this year at the annual Watches and Wonders event, including these unique Datejust variants with floral dials.
Rolex released three new dials for the 31mm Datejust: A two-tone rose gold and steel model with a silver dial and diamond bezel, a steel and white gold version with a fluted bezel and blue dial, and a solid 18k yellow gold model with diamond bezel and green dial.
Each watch features a single diamond set into the centers of the flowers in the dial, with a total of 24 diamonds in the dial. Underneath, there’s still the 2236 movement with a date complication at three o’clock, a 55-hour power reserve, and Rolex’s legendary accuracy.
These are brand-new timepieces, so it’s likely to be a little while before they show up everywhere. We think they’ll be worth the wait, however, as the classic Oyster case shape works great in the smaller size and the intricate dial work on these watches puts them on another level entirely. Combine that with the fact that the Datejust features a 330-ft water resistance rating, and it’s easy to see how these watches could be worn everyday, despite their flash and value.
