With this model Rolex is introducing a new generation of its Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36. Aesthetically it will come in everose Rolesor or yellow Rolesor versions, each available with a large selection of dials. The new Datejust 36 timepieces features a 36 mm case with redesigned sides and lugs. For this year model, Rolex made a decision to give it’s Datejust a new calibre 3235 movement that has been completely developed and manufactured in-house.

In pursuit of perfection Rolex hand-manufactures it’s dials in-house, giving attention to the smallest details. Rolex Datejust 36 features one of the most recognizable features of Rolex watches – cyclops lens. It is strategically positioned at 3 o’clock marker, magnifying the date display for easy reading. The Oyster bracelet has a seamless integration with the timepiece, creating a beautiful flow from case to the bracelet. It is designed to be comfortable and robust at the same time. The calibre 3235 is a self-winding mechanical movement, that is at the forefront of the art of watchmaking. Featuring 14 patents, it has been developed and manufactured entirely by Rolex. It incorporates a new Chronergy escapement movement (patented by Rolex), which combines high energy efficiency with great dependability. Made of nickel-phosphorus it offers convenience and reliability combined with fundamental gains in terms of precision, power reserve, resistance to shocks and magnetic interference.
